Bella Sol Medical Spa is a growing wellness and aesthetics clinic dedicated to integrative, functional, and personalized care. We specialize in helping clients achieve optimal health through evidence-based treatments, including functional medicine, medical weight management, hormone optimization, and aesthetic services. As we expand our wellness offerings, we are seeking a compassionate and driven Certified Nutrition/Health Coach to join our team.
Description
We are looking for a Certified Nutrition or Health Coach with at least 12 months of hands-on experience working with clients in a wellness or medical setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about functional health, behavior change, and sustainable weight loss. You will support clients through personalized coaching, accountability, and lifestyle education related to gut health, metabolic wellness, hormone balance, and weight management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual and in-person coaching sessions for clients enrolled in functional wellness and weight management programs
- Create customized nutrition and lifestyle strategies based on client goals, lab results, and provider recommendations
- Track client progress, provide accountability, and make adjustments to wellness plans as needed
- Collaborate with the medical and functional team to ensure alignment of care plans
- Educate clients on topics such as inflammation, blood sugar regulation, gut health, and anti-inflammatory nutrition
- Use client portals to document sessions, upload resources, and monitor adherence
- Assist with content creation for wellness handouts, workshops, and group programs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
Requirements
- Active certification as a Health Coach or Nutrition Coach (NBC-HWC, Precision Nutrition, IIN, NTP, etc.)
- Minimum 12 months of experience coaching clients on nutrition, weight loss, or wellness behavior change
- Strong understanding of functional medicine principles (GI health, insulin resistance, thyroid, inflammation)
- Excellent communication, listening, and motivational interviewing skills
- Comfortable working with EMRs, client tracking apps, and virtual platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
- Passionate about holistic health and evidence-based nutrition
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical or integrative clinic setting
- Familiarity with functional lab interpretation (GI-MAP, DUTCH, blood chemistry)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience with body composition tracking tools (e.g., InBody)
