The Loctician / Stylist Role

We are seeking a loctician who is passionate about the craft and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long term career within a team that values accountability, professionalism, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform loc maintenance, styling, crochet services, and other salon related services
• Deliver clean, consistent, detail oriented work that reflects Belavish standards
• Educate clients on proper loc care, maintenance, and healthy hair practices
• Learn and follow salon systems, service protocols, and operational procedures
• Manage your appointments, client checkouts, and rebooking recommendations
• Recommend and sell Belavish products that support clients' maintenance routines and hair goals
• Maintain a professional client experience from consultation through checkout
• Uphold salon cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
• Contribute positively to team culture, client retention, and the reputation of the brand

Requirements & Experience

• Licensed cosmetologist, currently enrolled in cosmetology school, or willing to obtain licensure
• Experience performing loc maintenance and styling services
• Ability to maintain quality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Open to learning advanced loc techniques, including crochet services, loc extensions, and microlocs
• Portfolio, professional social media page, or examples of previous work required

Selected candidates will participate in an interview and practical assessment.

Candidates advancing to the practical assessment stage must provide a model and demonstrate their technical skills, client interaction, and overall approach to service delivery.
