We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a key role in helping children develop new skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their individual goals.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients based on individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors and teach new skills.
  • Collect accurate and detailed data on client progress and behavior during each session.
  • Use reinforcement strategies and evidence-based techniques to encourage skill acquisition and behavior improvement.
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills.
  • Provide services in various settings, including the clinic, home, school, or community, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and supervision with the BCBA.


Qualifications:

  • Certification: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB (required).
  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive impact on children and families.
  • Ability to collect accurate data, follow detailed instructions, and provide feedback to supervisors.
  • Physical ability to play, interact, and move with children, as well as assist with physical needs if required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing ABA therapy or working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with data collection systems and behavior tracking software (e.g., Office Puzzle, CentralReach).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain it.
