Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Join the growing team at Behavioral Intervention Therapy Services (BITS), where we provide collaborative, child-centered care in both clinical and educational settings.  


Position Summary: As an Occupational Therapist at BITS, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy to children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine/gross motor concerns, and other functional needs. You’ll work closely with our team of BCBAs, RBTs, educators, and families to support skill development, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life in the home, school, and community settings.  


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress

• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, teachers, and caregivers for a coordinated care approach

• Participate in IEP/IFSP planning when applicable

• Provide caregiver training and support carryover of strategies at home and school

• Document all sessions and maintain compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards  


Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• Active Florida state license (OTR/L) in good standing

• Pediatric experience preferred (school-based or clinic-based)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for supporting neurodivergent children and their families

Salary

$28 - $45 per hour
