We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing support through applied behavior analysis techniques. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Collect and analyze data related to client progress and behavior.
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations and contribute to the development of treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and educators, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engage with clients in a positive manner, promoting skill development and independence.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Experience

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices is essential.
  • Background in research data collection related to behavioral health is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities, is desirable.
