The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory within the warehouse. These duties include, but are not limited to, organizing equipment, keeping accurate logs, and working with mechanics to coordinate repairs as needed.

JOB TITLE: INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: FLEET

PAY TYPE: HOURLY

MANAGER: FLEET MANAGER


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Primary duties of the Inventory Control Specialist include the following:


  • Maintain an accurate daily inventory count
  • Ensure all equipment is serialized and cataloged
  • Check-in/check-out equipment using inventory software/app
  • Work with outside agencies in order to have equipment and tools repaired and replaced.
  • Find new ways to ensure plumbers are getting what they need as fast as possible.
  • Work with mechanics on both check-in procedures to coordinate any repairs to equipment needed.
  • Work and coordinate with delivery drivers if assets are needed in the field.
  • Other duties as assigned


SKILLS


  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.


QUALIFICATIONS


Required

  • 1 year related experience


Preferred

  • 2+ years experience
  • Basic understanding of plumbing equipment/tools.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods

Salary

$20 - $26 per hour
