SUMMARY:

The Wine Sales Associate enjoys engaging with customers, sharing their love of wine, and working in a dynamic retail environment. The primary responsibility will be selling our wines at our garden center and representing our brand at off-site events such as farmers’ markets, festivals, and private tastings. Part Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and educate guests about our wines, including tasting notes, food pairings, and production methods.
  • Conduct wine tastings and drive sales at our garden center and off-site events.
  • Set up and break down tasting stations and displays at various event locations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain an inviting and organized wine display area.
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking, and restocking wines.
  • Assist with wine production, to include bottling and labeling.
  • Develop relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and our winery’s offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Passion for wine with a willingness to learn about our selections.
  • Previous experience in wine sales, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and engaging with customers in different settings.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to lift and carry wine cases (approximately 40 lbs).
  • Valid drivers license and availability to travel to off-site events as needed.
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling and be available to work weekends and evenings.
