Receiving & Inventory Specialist 


Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn

  • Hours
  • 10:00AM - 7:00PM
  • Days: Full-time Monday - Friday

Overview

BEAM is seeking a Receiving & Inventory Specialist to join our team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This position will focus on ensuring exceptional inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. You will provide critical oversight, direction, and accountability for all inventory processes, collaborating closely with our partners and leveraging your analytical prowess to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities


  • Receive and put away deliveries from suppliers
  • Verify order accuracy, product quality, and packaging integrity
  • Perform daily inventory checks and cycle counts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all inventory areas 
  • Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly with our vendors
  • Support in logistics and assist during peak operational hours
  • Order from vendors through an online ordering platforms


Qualifications


  • 1–2 years of experience in packing, fulfillment, inventory control or supply chain management
  • High reliability, organization, punctuality, and strong attention to detail are a must
  • Able to lift up to or above 50 lbs and remain on feet for long periods of time
  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse tracking tools
  • Experience working with Shopify and inventory programs
