Essential Requirements:
- Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
- Ability to safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask calmly in a bustling environment
- Ability to work in an environment with variable noise and temperature levels
- Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the kitchen
- Ability to read a thermometer correctly and effectively
- Ability to use a scale correctly and effectively
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with pastry team to prepare doughnuts according to prescribed recipes and procedures
- Produce menu items according to counts provided by kitchen manager
- Prepare ingredients needed for doughnut dough and other recipes as needed
- Handle dough and use necessary equipment to mix, roll, and cut doughnuts
- Assist chef in overseeing pastry inventory and communicating needs to ordering manager
- Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
- Maintain food safety and quality standards
- Communicate and delays or issues to direct manager
- Account for all items coming out of the station
- Understand and follow the food allergy procedure
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Get along with others and work as part of a team
- Other duties assigned as needed
** Compensation range is based on experience. Employees earn tips in addition to hourly rate. **
