Be Well Women's Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical and administrative duties in a small outpatient office setting, providing essential support to our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinical area
- Adhere to all relevant safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
