The Be. Org is seeking motivated and community-minded Summer Impact Interns to support youth programming, outreach, and operational implementation throughout the summer. This role is ideal for college students interested in education, youth development, social impact, communications, or community-based work.

Interns will collaborate with students, staff, partners, and stakeholders to support program implementation, engagement efforts, and day-to-day operations connected to youth programming and pathways development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and create content that captures program impact, including photos, student highlights, testimonials, and materials for outreach and engagement
  • Track attendance and assist with data collection, pre- and post-assessments, and reporting to evaluate program success, opportunities, and areas for growth
  • Prepare, organize, and manage program materials, including assembling kits and maintaining inventory systems to support smooth implementation
  • Maintain and organize digital content systems, including shared drives and program documentation
  • Support youth engagement activities and assist staff during workshops, events, and programming sessions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure programming is organized, engaging, and responsive to participant needs

Requirements

  • Active college student, rising junior or higher preferred
  • Interest in youth development, education, nonprofit work, or community engagement
  • Comfortable with basic technology platforms, including Google Drive and data tracking tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage professionally with youth, families, and partners
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth, mentoring, tutoring, or community programs
  • Experience with content creation, social media, photography, or communications is a plus
  • Familiarity with Baltimore communities and youth-serving initiatives preferred
