The Be. Org is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Middle School Math Tutors to support students in grades 6–8. Position Summary: The Be. Org is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Middle School Math Tutors to support students in grades 6–8. Tutors will provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with school curriculum, helping students strengthen math skills and improve academic confidence, in preparation for standardized state testing.


Key Responsibilities:


-Provide one-on-one and small-group math tutoring for middle school students


-Support students in topics such as fractions, decimals, ratios, pre-algebra, and problem-solving


-Assist with assignments, test preparation, and skill reinforcement


-Adapt tutoring strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs


-Maintain a positive, encouraging, and student-centered learning environment


-Track student progress and communicate updates to program staff


-Follow all organizational policies related to student safety and professionalism


Qualifications:


-Strong understanding of middle school math concepts


-Prior experience tutoring or working with middle school–aged students preferred


-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


-Patience, reliability, and a passion for youth development


-Ability to pass a background check


-Current college student or recent graduate, with a STEM-related major


Additional Details:


Must have reliable transportation and be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays 10:30 am - 12 pm.
