Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Description
We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a strong team. If you’re experienced with diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostics, and you want to work with a crew that values ownership, teamwork, positive energy, and discipline — we’d like to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance on dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, and haul trucks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Inspect equipment to ensure it’s safe and ready to work
- Keep clear records of inspections and repairs
- Work closely with the field team to keep machines running smoothly
- Occasionally haul equipment to and from job sites
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience working on heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Self-motivated, dependable, and works well in a team
- Tech-savvy enough to use apps or software for record keeping
