Silver Falls Capital is in need of a Product Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for product marketing strategy and execution, working closely with our marketing team members and agency, and supporting two strategic businesses and brands in our portfolio: BirdBuffer and CITC Special Effects.

A key member of the BirdBuffer and CITC commercial teams, this person will have significant influence over product marketing content messaging around features and benefits, product and brand positioning and highly-value marketing collateral including website copy, authoring whitepapers and educational materials, curating customer testimonials and reviews, scripting YouTube channel videos and various other creative marketing projects. The Product Marketing Specialist provides cross-functional leadership and builds strong relationships, provides expert guidance, and delivers outstanding support to enhance overall marketing effectiveness. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about product innovation, state of the art marketing, killer marketing content and collateral and delivering a customer experience that consistently exceeds expectations.

For over 30 years CITC has been enhancing TV and movie productions and live events with artificial snow, fog, haze, bubbles, confetti, and foam. Our equipment and proprietary fluids and expendables have been used to create unique cinematography for major motion pictures, bring excitement to stadium concert and professional sporting events, enhance photography shoots for fashion catalogues, and add magic to amusement and theme park attractions.  We are passionate about delivering the most innovative special effects in the industry.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Working closely with the Technical Product Manager, our marketing team and the Sales Account Managers, clearly defines product differentiation to ensure BirdBuffer and CITC solutions “stand up off the pile” in their respective competitive market places. 
  • Drives high value content creation that clearly supports our unique differentiation in the market place and aligns with our overall business strategy.  
  • Drives innovative and high impact product marketing campaigns designed to create awareness and preference of our solutions and accelerate prospects’ buyers journey. 
  • Drives our Marketing strategies and tactical execution working with skilled agency resources to deliver high quality MQLs that convert to the sales funnel and ultimately become closed-won opportunities (revenue). 
  • Develops daily, weekly and monthly Key Performance to drive performance visibility, root cause problem solving and continuous improvement across key commercial processes. indicators Analyze and interpret data related to user engagement, market trends, and technological advancements. 
  • Drives Voice of Customer research and learning to become an advocate for our customers and their problems within the organization.   
  • Manages customer engagements, industry exhibitions and tradeshows. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.  


Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Will be responsible for budgeting and managing external marketing agencies and individuals.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 
  • At least two years of related experience. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance creative vision with practical feasibility. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 


Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: 

  • Proven experience in product marketing or product management, preferably within a technical product-centric business. 
  • Special effects or Pest Control industry experience. 


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  

  • This is a full-time, on-site position.  Successful candidate is available to work at our Mukilteo, WA location. 
  • Must be able to travel >15% of the time. 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
