Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who leads by example on the floor, sets clear goals for the team, and actively coaches associates to grow their skills. This role is responsible for supporting and ensuring the team delivers results through an amazing client experience, executing all store operations, and maintaining a visually appealing store. This person brings a positive attitude that engages associates and customers every day, wants to be part of a winning team, and brings energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and self-motivation to work.
This is an on-site position working closely with the management team, sales team, and tailoring staff to ensure the store runs smoothly and the team is set up to succeed every day.
Key Responsibilities
• Set clear sales and performance goals for the team, and lead by example on the floor
• Actively coach and develop associates through hands-on feedback and mentorship
• Ensure the team is well-trained in product knowledge and customer service standards
• Support & ensure the team delivers results by providing an amazing client experience
• Execute all store operations, including floor presentation and product placement
• Maintain a visually appealing, well-merchandised store at all times
• Ensure the store is properly staffed and schedules meet business needs
• Assist with planning and executing in-store events and community involvement initiatives in partnership with the leadership team and owners
• Support business development efforts to grow the client base and local presence
• Bring positive energy that engages associates and customers every day
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role
• Strong coaching and team development skills
• Ability to set and drive toward clear goals
• Solid understanding of retail operations and merchandising standards
• Comfortable engaging in community and business development efforts
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Passion for fashion and client experience
