Position Summary

Bass Wellness Center is seeking motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC) to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors.

Whether you are an experienced clinician or a motivated new graduate, we are looking for providers committed to delivering exceptional psychiatric care through telehealth.

This is a fully remote opportunity serving patients across New York State.

Compensation

Current reimbursement includes:

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation — $150

• 55-Minute Follow-Up — $125

• 40-Minute Follow-Up — $100

• 20-Minute Medication Management — $60

Provider compensation varies based on appointment mix and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders across the lifespan

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications

• Provide patient education

• Complete timely and accurate documentation

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

• Maintain compliance with New York State and federal regulations

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Active New York Registered Professional Nurse License

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)

• Active DEA Registration

• Professional Liability (Malpractice) Insurance

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• HIPAA-compliant remote workspace

New Graduate Applicants Welcome

Bass Wellness Center welcomes applications from new graduates.

Providers with fewer than 3,600 hours of qualifying experience or less than two years of post-licensure experience who require a collaborative practice agreement under New York State law may be eligible for physician collaboration through Bass Wellness Center.

Collaboration requirements, supervision expectations, and eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
