The Warehouse Supervisor owns everything that happens on the floor — opening and closing, staffing, safety, receiving, picking, packing, and getting every order out the door correctly and on time. You're the person the rest of the team looks to when something needs a decision fast. Customers never see you directly, but every single one of them feels the result of how well you run this warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
• Open and close the warehouse each day, including safety and equipment checks
• Plan staffing and shift coverage based on expected order volume
• Lead the daily team huddle — priorities, blockers, safety notes
• Oversee receiving, quality inspection, and put-away of incoming inventory
• Run picking, packing, and staging operations to hit accuracy and speed targets
• Dispatch delivery drivers and manage route staging
• Run weekly cycle counts and approve inventory adjustments
• Handle safety incidents and near-misses immediately and correctly
• Be the first point of coaching and accountability for the warehouse team
Who Thrives at BASH
You'll probably love working here if...
• You naturally move with urgency.
• You like staying busy.
• You enjoy helping people.
• You notice details other people miss.
• You take pride in doing things the right way.
• You enjoy working as part of a team.
• You like solving problems instead of complaining about them.
• You like learning.
• You enjoy building something from the ground up.
Required Qualifications
We hire for character first. If you're reliable, coachable, and genuinely care about doing good work, we can teach you almost everything else. The list below is kept short on purpose — only what genuinely can't be trained on the job.
• Experience leading or supervising a team in a warehouse, retail, restaurant, or similarly fast-paced environment
• Comfortable making decisions quickly, without waiting for someone else to tell you what to do
• Reliable transportation and ability to be on-site for scheduled shifts
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for a full shift
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
• Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software
• Background in e-commerce fulfillment or last-mile logistics
• Experience training or onboarding new employees
• Beauty or retail industry familiarity
Physical Requirements
• Regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Stand and walk for the majority of a shift
• Bend, reach, and occasionally climb (step stools/ladders for shelving)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment — varying temperatures, not a climate-controlled office
Employment Type
Part-Time
BASH is intentionally launching with part-time positions as we build responsibly. As the business grows, high-performing team members may have real opportunities to move into full-time roles — based on company growth, operational needs, and performance. This is a disciplined choice, not a limitation: we'd rather grow the right way than overpromise and walk it back.
We understand our team members have lives outside of work — school, parenting, another part-time job, or just the rest of life. While business needs always come first, we strive to create consistent schedules and communicate early whenever possible. We believe flexibility works best when it's built on reliability, communication, and mutual respect.
Compensation & Benefits
Warehouse Supervisor starts at $20/hour.
Because we're an early-stage startup, our launch team positions are part-time and do not currently include traditional benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation, or paid holidays.
Instead, we've focused on creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy showing up — offering growth opportunities, direct access to leadership, product perks, and the chance to help build something meaningful from day one.
As BASH grows, we fully intend to expand our employee benefits alongside the company.
Schedule Expectations
This is a launch team, which means real flexibility in the first few months while we learn our actual volume patterns. Weekend availability is required — that's when our customers shop most. Full availability is strongly preferred during November, our first holiday season and our biggest test. Consistent scheduling is the goal once we're past the early ramp-up.
Success at BASH
Every BASH employee — regardless of role — is customer-obsessed, reliable, coachable, accountable, kind, urgent without rushing, solution-oriented, humble, team-first, adaptable, takes pride in their work, protects the BASH brand, communicates respectfully, owns mistakes, and improves continuously. This doesn't change by title. See the BASH Success Profile for the full standard.
Success in This Role (First 90 Days)
• The warehouse runs the same whether you're on the floor or out sick, because the team is trained — not dependent on you personally
• Order accuracy and on-time dispatch are stable or improving
• Your team trusts you to have their back, and you trust them to do the job right
• You've caught at least one real problem before it became a bigger one
Growth Opportunities
This isn't just a part-time warehouse job — it's a chance to grow with BASH. We believe in promoting from within whenever possible. Someone who starts as a Picker today could absolutely become a Supervisor, a Trainer, an Operations Manager, or another leadership role as we grow. We're building careers, not just filling shifts.
As a founding role, this one has the clearest ceiling of all: as BASH grows past one warehouse, this is exactly the kind of role that grows into Operations Manager — and eventually, if we're lucky enough to open a second location, into leadership over an entire region. We built our operating system with that path already mapped.
Launch Team Perks
• Monthly BASH Beauty Credit — product on us, every month
• Early access to new product launches, before anyone else sees them
• Occasional product testing opportunities
• Direct access to leadership — really, actually direct
• A small team where every voice matters
• A genuine promote-from-within philosophy
• The chance to help build a company from the ground up, not just work inside one that's already finished
• Cross-training across stations, if you want it
• Real professional development — through hands-on experience, not a training video
Why People Love Working Here
Direct access to the Founder — not a chain of five managers between you and a decision. Your ideas about how the floor should run actually get used, not filed away. This is a small team building something real, and everyone on it contributes in a way that matters. It's fast-moving, a little chaotic in the best way, and never boring.
✦ A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
We're not looking for perfect resumes. We're looking for great people.
We can teach our systems. We can teach our technology. We can teach our processes. What we can't teach is character.
If you're reliable, kind, coachable, accountable, and excited to help build something meaningful, don't let a few missing qualifications stop you from applying. I'd rather meet someone with the right mindset than miss out on someone incredible because they underestimated themselves.
If you're looking for somewhere to simply clock in and clock out, BASH probably isn't for you.
But if you're excited about building something meaningful, serving our community, learning, growing, and helping build a company from the very beginning, I genuinely hope you'll apply. I'd love the opportunity to meet you.
