Talent Partner
JOB DESCRIPTION
Talent Partner Job Title:
Talent Partner FLSA Status:
Exempt Department:
Human Resources Reports To:
Chief People Officer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Partner is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for clinic-based positions across BasePoint Academy. Each Talent Partner is assigned a specific set of BasePoint clinic locations: Forney, McKinney, Arlington, Frisco, Virtual, and future locations as the organization grows — and serves as the primary recruiting partner for clinical and operations leadership at those locations. The role owns all non-provider hiring within their assigned locations, including licensed therapists, clinical leadership, Access Specialists, Administrative and Medical Liaisons, and Clinical Care Coordinators.
This is a true partnership role. The Talent Partner builds and sustains relationships with Executive Directors, Clinical Managers, and hiring leaders at their assigned locations, understanding the rhythm of each clinic, the culture each leader is building, and the kind of person who thrives there. Success in this role is measured not by how many requisitions get closed, but by how well the right people get matched to the right teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing & Recruiting
•
Own end-to-end recruiting for all non-provider positions at assigned BasePoint locations (Forney, McKinney, Arlington, Frisco, Virtual, and future locations), including licensed therapists (Primary, Specialty, Lead, Virtual), Clinical Managers, Assistant Clinical Directors, Executive Directors, Access Specialists, Administrative Liaisons, Medical Liaisons, and Clinical Care Coordinators.
•
Partner with hiring leaders at assigned locations to understand current and forecasted staffing needs.
•
Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, employee referrals, university partnerships, and direct outreach.
•
Conduct phone screens, evaluate candidate qualifications, and assess alignment with BasePoint's mission, culture, and the specific clinic's team dynamics.
•
Manage the full candidate experience, from first outreach through offer acceptance with the BasePoint values of Courage to Solve, Spirit of Grit, WWIWFMF, and Tend to Your Roses guiding every interaction.
Clinic Partnership
•
Build strong working relationships with Executive Directors, Clinical Managers, the Director of Virtual Services, and other hiring leaders at assigned locations.
•
Visit assigned clinics regularly to understand local culture, observe team dynamics, and stay close to the work. Partner with the Virtual Services team through scheduled video touchpoints.
•
Advise hiring leaders on candidate market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and realistic time-to-fill expectations for their roles.
•
Collaborate on job description development, interview question design, and structured interview rubrics for roles at assigned locations.
Career Fairs & Community Engagement
•
Represent BasePoint at in-person career fairs at universities and partner programs aligned to assigned locations, including those in the BasePoint university partnership network.
•
Participate in virtual career fairs and hiring events, particularly for clinic openings and high-volume hiring needs.
•
Partner with the Senior Talent Partner and HR/TA Project Manager to plan and execute clinic-specific hiring events when needed (NRH, McKinney BT, and future clinic openings).
•
Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, counseling and social work programs, and professional associations relevant to assigned locations.
Operations & Compliance
•
Maintain accurate, current candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
•
Partner with the HR Generalist to ensure smooth handoff from offer acceptance through pre-boarding and NEO.
•
Stay current on Texas licensure requirements for clinical roles (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, and associate licenses) and verify credentials appropriately.
•
Adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including those specific to behavioral healthcare hiring.
•
Participate in regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing development to grow into a Senior Talent Partner role.
Talent Partner — Job Description KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
•
Strong relationship-building skills able to earn the trust of hiring leaders and candidates equally.
•
Genuine interest in the people work, not just the volume work. The right candidate cares about who they place, not just how many they place.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication. Confident representing BasePoint to candidates, executives, university partners, and community contacts.
•
Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of working independently across multiple clinic locations and hiring leaders.
•
Resourceful in identifying candidates through both active and passive sourcing channels.
•
Familiar with employment laws and best practices, particularly as they apply to healthcare hiring in Texas.
•
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed (including Smart Sourcing), applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
•
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage 8-15 active requisitions simultaneously.
•
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
