BasePoint is looking for a compassionate and motivated Lead Transportation BHT to join our team at our Frisco clinic!

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Transportation BHT, you will play a key role in creating an environment where patients and families feel supported, safe, and inspired to grow. You will:


  • Provide safe transportation for patients to and from the facility.
  • Communicate pick up/drop off times and locations to families.
  • Ensure patients adhere to established guidelines and employ appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques according to policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for the non-mechanical upkeep of BasePoint vans, ensuring cleanliness inside the vehicles, reporting damage and mechanical problems for repairs.
  • Conduct Pre- and Post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety of the vehicle.
  • Monitor and facilitate vehicle maintenance requests for all site-level fleet.
  • Assist with milieu management to include front office coverage, check-in/out process, line of sight, educational support, dismissal, and administrative duties as required.
  • Identify, evaluate, and update routes for the site to create efficiency in the transportation of patients.
  • Monitor and facilitate vehicle maintenance requests for all site-level fleet.
  • Oversee Transportation Database, providing daily oversight of route availability and patient attendance.
  • Conduct video reviews to ensure compliance with program guidelines and standards.
  • Orient and instruct new drivers regarding job duties and provide continual training for the transportation team.
  • Assist Executive Director in assessing route coverage needs, conducting interviews, providing feedback on performance reviews, and providing ongoing support for drivers.
  • Complete Environment of Care Rounds in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Assist Executive Director in identifying, requesting, and monitoring facility maintenance needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
