What You’ll Do

As a Virtual Programs Executive Director, you will play a key role in creating an environment where patients and families feel supported, safe, and inspired to grow. You will:

Leadership and Growth

  • Leads the expansion of the virtual care program, growing service capacity while maintaining program quality and consistency.
  • Designs and implements the clinic’s organizational structure, including clinical, administrative, and support functions.
  • Hires, onboards, and mentors virtual staff across all departments to ensure alignment with BasePoint’s mission and values.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan for the virtual program’s clinical and financial success.

Program Oversight

  • Provides leadership and oversight of all virtual clinical services to ensure safe, effective, and compliant care delivery for acute behavioral health clients.
  • Ensures integration and coordination across disciplines, including therapy, psychiatry, nursing, and case management.
  • Establishes and maintains clinical protocols, treatment standards, and quality improvement initiatives for virtual operations.
  • Maintains accountability for financial outcomes, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing resources efficiently.
  • Monitors and improves clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partners closely with the Chief Operating Officer and BasePoint’s leadership team to align virtual program strategy with organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with Admissions, Utilization Review, and Finance to ensure appropriate utilization and reimbursement for virtual services.
  • Works with the Sales and Marketing teams to align capacity and staffing models with projected patient volume and referral trends.
  • Represents the virtual program in internal meetings, cross-departmental initiatives, and external partnerships.

People and Culture

  • Builds and sustains a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence among virtual staff.
  • Drives retention, development, and succession planning efforts for all members of the virtual team.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings and one-on-ones to communicate updates, provide coaching, and foster team cohesion in a virtual environment.

Compliance and Quality

  • Ensures all virtual clinical services meet or exceed BasePoint’s compliance standards, including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and state licensing requirements.
  • Oversees internal audits, risk management activities, and incident response processes.

Implements continuous quality improvement measures based on data, feedback, and outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or equivalent in the behavioral health field

Experience: 5+ years of experience working as a clinician to include 2 years of previous management experience.

License: Current Texas license as an LPC, LPC-S, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-S

Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. May be required to work flexible hours.
