Description:  

Barrington Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Bible teacher to join our team. As a Middle School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape minds, foster creativity, inspire a love of learning in our students, and guide students on their spiritual walk. This position includes three sections of Bible.

Job Overview:

As a Middle School Bible teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. You will develop lesson plans, implement instructional activities, and assess student progress. Your role will involve collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators to ensure the overall success of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
• Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and cooperation
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
• Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and educational trends

Requirements:

• Strong Christian faith and commitment
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification/license or related qualifications
• Previous experience teaching Bible to upper school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and a dedication to their academic, spiritual and personal growth
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Familiarity with technology and its integration into the classroom

Salary:

The salary offer will be based on qualifications and experience.
