The ServiceNow ITOM Consultant will support the delivery of ServiceNow solutions and development efforts, with a focus on ITOM (IT Operations Management). Includes understanding the client’s needs and challenges then applying industry best practices and in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow to design a tailored solution that enhances the IT operations and performance meeting or exceeding the functional requirements. Builds a strong rapport with key project stakeholders and guides them to the adoption of the best solution. Supports change management initiatives by providing information on the “to be” solution. Leads quality assurance activities and ensures all business and technical requirements are met. Demonstrates the application and implemented IT processes to stakeholders; may assist in developing training material and providing user training.
The ServiceNow ITOM Consultant will work closely with the Project Manager and the Technical Lead to ensure the solution is technically viable and to identify areas to optimize implementation efforts. Validates the configuration of IT data and assists the technical team for any required custom development. Supports or leads test plan development and execution including conducting user acceptance testing ensuring delivery meets client’s expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Expert Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support for ServiceNow implementations and development efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
2. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate these into technical specifications.
3. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform, including ITOM, to meet specific business needs, ensuring a seamless integration with existing processes.
4. Development of Automated Workflows: Develop automated workflows and scripts to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and automate key processes.
5. Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure compliance with ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, GRC, SPM, and CMDB standards in all ServiceNow implementations and configurations.
6. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to team members, enhancing their understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices.
7. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and recommend improvements to ServiceNow processes and procedures, enhancing system functionality and user experience.
8. Knowledge Upkeep: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices, and apply this knowledge effectively in our environment.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ServiceNow consulting, though candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, development, and best practices, with a focus on ITOM.
3. Application Knowledge: Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow applications.
4. Standards Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL, GRC, SPM, and CMDB standards and processes.
5. Certifications: ServiceNow certifications are required. preferred Certifications:

7. Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Salary Range: $95,000 to $125,000 per year
