As the welcoming face of our salon and retail space, you'll help create joyful, tail-wagging experiences for every pup and their discerning owner. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients with our signature warm, friendly demeanor, making every visitor feel like part of the Bark & Bone family.
• Serve as the front desk coordinator: manage appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure smooth drop-offs and pick-ups for grooming services.
• Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence, patience, and genuine affection during client interactions.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations about pet wellness, pet food diets, and nutrition—educating them on the benefits of our premium, ethically sourced products to help their dogs thrive.
• Assist shoppers in selecting the perfect foods, treats, or accessories tailored to their dog's needs and lifestyle.
• Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and retail area to reflect our elevated standards.
• Replenish shelves, merchandise products attractively, and keep displays fresh and appealing.
• Spot opportunities for upselling and cross-selling (e.g., pairing nutrition advice with grooming add-ons) to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently while following company policies.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our grooming team and pet nutrition specialists to deliver cohesive, high-quality service.
• Stay informed on the latest in pet nutrition and trends through ongoing team training.

Requirements:

• Passionate dog lover with a true appreciation for high-quality pet care and nutrition.
• Previous retail, customer service, or pet industry experience preferred (but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter most!).
• Comfortable handling and interacting with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities.
• Strong communication skills—warm, welcoming, informative, and able to convey our premium, pet-centric vibe.
• Ability to multitask in a lively, fast-paced boutique environment.
• Weekend availability is required—our busiest days are when families have time to pamper their pups!
