Bare Arms Gear & Trading Company is currently looking to hire a full-time and a part-time Retail Key Holder! The ideal individual must be outgoing and personable. This position is available at our newest retail store at Tanger Outlets Fort Worth just off I-35.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR (what's it all about)

We’re looking for an outgoing and personable individual to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Bare Arms Trading Company Retail Associate & Key Holder, you’ll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that all our guests are able to get their hands on the merch they love. You’ll use your star power, leadership and knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, while also supporting your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. They’ll be impressed by your product knowledge, customer experience skills and use of the Force
• Greet and welcome customers into our store and show them around to all the new apparel and gift items just delivered or air-dropped
• Step in and step up when needed. You’ll provide leadership support and help run the store when your Manager gets pulled away
• Understand store sales plan and comp sales goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards. You’ll also help in the opening and closing of the store
• Work the register; you’ll process sales transactions and use your fandom knowledge to drive add on sales. We’ll need you to also be able to close out the register and communicate and shortages or overages to your Store Manager
• Assist with new merchandise deliveries and changes including store merchandising mix
• While we welcome all guests into our stores, we don't like it when things get too much love and "walk away". You’ll work with Store Management to ensure there’s no misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
• Support the maintenance of the Base; you’ll help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Retail Sales Associates as needed to help them quickly get acclimated to the team
• Any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader

The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation with an open availability for scheduling (this includes weekdays and weekends). Prior retail experience is referred, but not required. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree

This position requires candidates to be able to stand and work on their feet for extended periods of time, be able to lift merchandise and product boxes up to 40 lbs each, and must be able to communicate well with patrons and fellow staff members.

The applicant must be available to work scheduled shifts during the hours of operation: Mon-Saturday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Hours will vary depending upon the day of the week and Holiday Shopping season.
