Ballin Elite is a new basketball shooting facility focused on youth training and high-quality player development. We are hiring a Facility Manager to run daily operations, support members, oversee scheduling, and help create an outstanding experience for athletes and families.
Ballin Elite is Arizona’s premier basketball shooting facility, built for athletes who want to train smarter and have fun doing it. We offer advanced shooting bays, a half court, Dr. Dish machines, and a fast-paced, positive atmosphere for kids and families. Our team focuses on great customer service, clean operations, and creating a place where athletes can level up their game.
The Facility Manager is responsible for daily operations at Ballin Elite, including opening and closing the facility, managing the member experience, overseeing equipment, and supporting the growth of the business. This role works closely with the Owner and helps maintain a positive, professional environment for youth athletes.
Key Responsibilities
• Open and close the facility following operational standards
• Oversee shooting bays, half court operations, and front desk flow
• Assist new member sign-ups and explain membership options
• Manage scheduling and bookings in MindBody / GymSchedule
• Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot Dr. Dish machines and report maintenance issues
• Assist with weekend traffic, birthday parties, and events
• Support customer service and basic marketing efforts when needed
• Train and oversee part-time staff once hired
• Maintain a safe, positive environment for athletes and families
• Communicate updates and operational needs to the Owner
Requirements
• Experience in customer service, gyms, sports facilities, coaching, or retail management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with kids, families, and athletes
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic familiarity with scheduling or POS systems (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must be available on weekends
• Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds as needed
