Baer Business Services, LLC Bookkeeper Remote · Part time

Bookkeeper is responsible for data entry, job costing and reconciliations for clients in the emergency services, construction, and/or restoration industry.


  • Accurately enter daily transactions and soft reconcile to bank feed; to include projects and class details
  • Utilize tags for in-depth reporting
  • Review client transaction entries for accuracy
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loans
  • Prepare preliminary internal financial statements
  • Weekly communications and follow up to client for information needed
  • Maintain accurate client notes in CRM system

If candidate has own practice or services outside clients, candidate will be required to service clients under Baer Business Services if converted to a W2 employee.

This is a contract position, with the potential to become a permanent full-time employee. Selected candidates will be required to sign a noncompete and non-solicitation agreement. The role will be guaranteed 20 hours per week minimum with the ability to obtain more as the company grows. Pay is dependent on experience. Hours are somewhat flexible within the scope of company hours; 8:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F.

QuickBooks Online experience is required - Minimum 3 years. Candidates not meeting this requirement will not be considered.

QuickBooks Online plus is preferred

Strong attention to detail is a must.

Proficient in auditing and reviewing work for accuracy prior to finalizing

Self-starter and motivator.

Professional written and verbal communication

Must understand and be able to apply basic accounting principles

Excellent independent, self-management skills

Ability to work and thrive in a remote work environment.


$25 - $30 per hour
