Our Non-Alc Accounts & Innovation Drector are key drivers of growth at Badger State Beverage, the innovative beverage division of Badger State Brewing. In this role, you’ll lead strategic partnerships with national and regional off-premise retail chains, ensuring strong performance and visibility of our expanding portfolio—ranging from craft hard seltzers and ciders to ready-to-drink cocktails and other emerging beverage categories.

Your mission: expand Badger State Beverage’s presence in key accounts nationwide—developing and executing sales strategies, managing buyer relationships, and delivering results that position us as a leader in the non-beer craft beverage space. You’ll collaborate across sales, marketing, and operations to drive volume, secure new placements, and build brand loyalty at scale.

Mission of the Role:

The Non-Alc Accounts & Innovation Drector will develop, guide, and maintain strong relationships with key chain accounts across the U.S., driving growth for our non-beer portfolio.


What You’ll Do:

  • Drive volume and share growth through increased distribution and targeted promotions.
  • Schedule and conduct regular sales calls with customers and wholesalers.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret data to create strategic insights and actionable plans.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to align on regional goals, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Conduct regular in-market work to ensure execution excellence, evaluate program performance, and identify growth opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • Able to manage multiple projects at once, set priorities, and execute with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator across all levels of an organization and the three-tier system.
  • Minimum 5 years of consumer packaged goods sales experience; adult beverage industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills—able to turn data into insights and actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with retail customers, internal teams, and wholesalers.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to convert direction into action plans.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Outside sales experience.
  • Experience in alcohol / liquor / beer / wine / RTD categories.
  • CRM software experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.


OTE (On-Target Earnings), including 20% variable comp: $80,000–$100,000

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in digital marketing, or similar field, and/or a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing with 2 years experience in the field.
  • Understanding of engaging content including photos, video, editing
  • Aptitude for exceptional copywriting
  • Project management minded with strong organizational skills
  • Desire to work in the food and beverage industry, with a strong knowledge of beer preferred
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Event Planning Experience: Experience in planning and executing successful events is beneficial.
  • Passion for beer, craft beverages, and the social nature of communal imbibing.
