Badger State Brewing was built in Wisconsin with a simple belief: when you take pride in where you’re from, the work feels better. Founded in 2013 by Green Bay residents Andrew Fabry and Sam Yanda, what started as a local brewery has grown into a craft beverage company rooted in community, creativity, and doing things the right way.

Get to Know The Role

Job Description

• Curating the best possible experience for each guest, patron, and fellow team member on a daily basis who enters our facilities.
• Serving, pouring craft beverages including beer, seltzer, wine, cider and more.
• Providing insight into the beer, seltzer, cider, and wine selection for patrons and visitors.
• Daily setup and teardown of the indoor and outdoor customer facing spaces.
• Sharing responsibility of keeping bar, tables, and restrooms, and all public spaces neat and tidy before during and after every shift.
• Bartending weddings and events in The Barrel Haus (event hall).
• Assisting guests in the gift shop and during events throughout our different spaces.
• Procuring our limited foodservice including pizzas and hot pretzels for patrons.

Basic Qualifications

• Curiosity for beverages, their history, and the story they tell.
• Prior bartending and beer knowledge.
• Hard-working and extremely detail-oriented.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of craft beer, seltzer, cider, and the industry.
• Mixology experience and creativity in creating drinks including seasonal beertails.
• Strong knowledge and awareness of seasonal mixology trends and topics.
• Desire to learn and grow.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly plus tips average $30+ per hour. All employees eligible for 401k matching plan. Merch and beverage discounts.
