Description

Why this role exists

Back Nine runs indoor golf facilities across the country, with hundreds more on the way. We have more stories than we have people to tell them: new locations, members, competitive play, tour-level talent partnerships, and an app that changes how people practice. Right now that work is spread across freelancers and agencies with nobody holding the center. You are the center.

What you will do

  • Build and run the content calendar across social, franchisee comms, and YouTube
  • Produce shoots end to end: concept, scheduling, talent, locations, gear, and delivery
  • Shoot day-to-day content yourself, in facilities, at HQ, and on the course
  • Brief and manage outside partners, including agencies, freelancers, and YouTube production crews
  • Develop show formats and recurring series for long-form YouTube, working with leadership on talent and direction
  • Partner with our full-time Editor / Motion Designer on post schedules and quality
  • Work with the brand design team so everything we make looks and sounds like Back Nine
  • Track what performs and adjust the plan based on it

What makes it hard

You will be producing and shooting at the same time, and the volume is real. Some weeks you will be on set three days and still need to keep the calendar moving. You will also be building the process as you go. If you want a finished playbook, this is not that job.

What you bring

  • 4+ years producing video content for a brand, agency, sports team, or media company
  • A portfolio that shows work you both produced and shot, including short-form social and at least one longer piece
  • Experience managing outside vendors, freelancers, or crews against a budget and deadline
  • Hands-on camera, lighting, and audio experience on cinema or mirrorless systems
  • Experience running a content calendar across more than one channel

Nice to have

  • Golf or sports content experience
  • YouTube channel growth or show development experience
  • Working knowledge of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Drone certification (FAA Part 107)

How to apply

Send your resume and a portfolio link. Tell us in two or three sentences about one piece you produced and what you would do differently now.
