Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Financial Records: Record and categorize daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping processes.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable Management: Process invoices, track and reconcile payments, and communicate with vendors or clients as needed.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights to support financial planning for clients.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and regulations. Maintain and organize financial records for audits and tax filings for clients.
  • Expense Management: Monitor client’s spending and recommend cost-effective solutions based on budget.
  • Software Management: Utilize accounting software QuickBooks to manage financial data and create efficiency in reporting and reconciliation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred for Accountant roles; optional for Bookkeepers with relevant experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of [1-3] years for Bookkeepers or [3-5] years for Accountant roles in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other office software.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP compliance, and familiarity with financial reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality in financial records.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations to improve financial operations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency.


Salary

$36,000 - $60,000 per year
