Incident Readiness Training Support Specialist

Remote | Full-Time | Incident Readiness


Aviation Safety Solutions is seeking a highly organized and motivated Incident Readiness Training Support Specialist to provide operational, administrative, and technical support to a comprehensive Incident Readiness Training Program supporting one of our autonomous vehicle clients.


Working under the direction of the Incident Readiness Training Lead, this role supports the development, administration, delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of readiness training programs and learning systems.


The position serves as a key support resource responsible for training administration, learning management system (LMS) support, training logistics, records management, compliance tracking, curriculum maintenance, and reporting activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple training initiatives within a fast-paced environment focused on safety-critical operations.


This is a remote position requiring availability Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM PST.

Periodic (possibly quarterly) travel for program planning sessions. This position is dedicated to our autonomous vehicle client.


Key Responsibilities

Training Program Support

  • Support the Incident Readiness Training Lead in the development, formatting, maintenance, and distribution of training materials and course content.
  • Assist with scheduling, logistics, and participant communications for virtual and instructor-led training programs.
  • Maintain facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and training documentation.
  • Support scenario-based training development and content updates based on operational changes and lessons learned.
  • Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM) to develop, enhance, and continuously refine training materials, learning content, job aids, and instructional resources while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with program objectives.
  • Assist with training program implementation and continuous improvement activities.

Learning Management System (LMS) Support

  • Support LMS administration activities including:
  • Course uploads
  • User management
  • Enrollment tracking
  • Completion reporting
  • Certification tracking
  • Monitor learner progress and completion status.
  • Generate training reports and compliance metrics.
  • Assist with LMS testing, troubleshooting, and system updates.

Training Records & Compliance Support

  • Maintain training records and documentation repositories.
  • Support tracking of training completion requirements and recurrency deadlines.
  • Monitor certification and qualification status.
  • Assist with readiness reporting and training dashboard updates.
  • Support audits and quality assurance reviews of training records and program documentation.

Curriculum & Content Management Support

  • Maintain training materials and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with reviews and updates of training content.
  • Support content version control and document management processes.
  • Ensure training materials remain aligned with current policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Assist with quality assurance reviews of curriculum and instructional materials.

Program Administration & Reporting

  • Support preparation of leadership reports, presentations, and status updates.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, action item tracking, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain organized program documentation and records.
  • Support program metrics tracking and reporting activities.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for the training program.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Education, Training Development, Business Administration, Communications, Emergency Management, Aviation, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 1–3 years of experience supporting training programs, learning management systems, workforce development programs, safety programs, project administration, or related functions.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, LMS platforms, and collaborative technology tools.
  • Proficiency utilizing generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Duckie, NotebookLM) to accelerate the development, revision, and maintenance of comprehensive training materials, instructional content, and learning resources.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
