We're looking for candidates residing and working in CO, DC, FL, GA, ID, KY, MA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA. Please note that we can only consider applicants who live and work in the listed states. We also welcome military spouses outside these states as long as they are legal residents of one of the hiring states (as qualified by the MSRRA).

Core Responsibilities

45% — Strategic Planning & Financial Oversight

  • Financial Strategy: Supervise financial statement preparation, assist in developing budgets, and analyze data to drive client decision-making.
  • Trusted Advisor: to a portfolio of clients, navigating complex landscapes to ensure their long-term growth.
  • Systems Advisory: Advise on the selection and implementation of CRM/ChMS platforms and online giving tools.
  • Operational Alignment: Ensure all client operations and data architecture (email, website) are aligned with their long-term strategic goals.
  • Compliance: Monitor registrations, policies, and insurance coverage (including worker’s comp audits) to ensure client protection.
  • HR & Payroll: Supervise payroll management and ensure strict adherence to federal and state employment laws.

30% — Client Relationship & Advisory

  • Engagement: Actively lead client meetings to provide personalized solutions and address strategic issues. 
  • Issue Resolution: Swiftly resolve client complaints and inquiries regarding donations, giving statements, or noncash contributions.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate schedules and activities during client implementations or client employee transitions.

20% — Team Leadership & Supervisory Oversight

  • Team Management: Organize and oversee the work of direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Internal Support: Provide direct support and guidance to the Operations Specialist and Operations Assistant in their respective roles.
  • HR: Handle employee issues as needed in accordance with Auxilio Handbook and policies including time off,  and leaves. 

5% — Auxilio Community

  • Internal Connection: Participate in weekly staff meetings for prayer, business updates, and team support. Engaging in internal company spaces (when appropriate and comfortable) to nurture community, collaboration, and culture


Skills & Experience

  • Technical Skills: Mastery of GAAP, multi-state payroll laws, HR compliance, and productivity tools like Google Workspace.
  • Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence for ministry environments, strong public speaking, and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience: 5+ years in business operations (preferably in a non-profit/church) and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Salary

$89,440 - $95,160 per year
