Position Overview
Keystone Auto Auction is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Auto Auction Manager to oversee and support the in-person bidding process during our weekly Thursday evening auctions in Van Nuys.
This role is responsible for accurately managing bids from in-person bidders, confirming sold vehicles, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the live auction. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can make quick decisions while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor the in-person bidding process during weekly auctions.
Accurately log bids from in-person bidders in real time.
Confirm and document vehicles sold to in-person bidders, including the final bid amount and winning bidder.
Ensure bidding information is accurately recorded and communicated.
Troubleshoot and resolve in-person bidding issues quickly and professionally.
Assist bidders with questions or issues related to the bidding process.
Communicate with auction staff to ensure a smooth and organized auction.
Monitor bidding activity and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
Maintain accurate records throughout the auction.
Help ensure all in-person transactions and auction activity are properly documented.
Perform other auction-related operational duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an auto auction, automotive, sales, or operations environment is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live auction environment.
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions under time pressure.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work every Thursday evening.
Comfortable using computers, tablets, auction software, or other digital tools.
Automotive knowledge or familiarity with vehicle auctions is a plus.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the in-person bidding process. You should be able to stay focused throughout a live auction, accurately track multiple bids, communicate clearly with bidders and staff, and quickly resolve issues when they arise.
Compensation
Pay: $ 250 per auction depending on experience.
$250 - $250 per day
