Job Description:

Autism Career Training is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. The BCBA will be responsible for providing high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to trainees, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation. The BCBA will also play a key role in the development and support of our ABA program.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and oversee the onboarding of new ABA trainees.
  • Perform reassessments and manage reauthorizations for all trainees.
  • Manage authorizations and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide support in emergency behavioral situations, potentially floating between locations as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and provide support at either location when challenging behaviors arise.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with the behavioral team.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 5 trainees, including providing supervision hours, parent training hours, and social group hours.
  • Provide professional development and training on behavioral de-escalation strategies.
  • Serve as the Central Reach coordinator.
  • Manage weekly scheduling for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Lead the development of assessments and contribute to the overall growth of the ABA program.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Design, implement, and adjust behavior intervention plans as needed.
  • Modify and adjust treatment plans based on trainee progress.
  • Maintain BCBA certification and complete required continuing education units (CEUs).



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the education or psychology field
  • Certified BCBA / LBA
  • Proven experience in working with individuals with ASD
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Creativity in accommodating a diverse set of needs for individuals with ASD
