Licensed Therapist (Per Diem) – In-Person

Aurora Sun Counseling is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated clinicians to join our growing private practice team. We are currently hiring three per diem therapists to provide in-person outpatient mental health services at our Mantua, New Jersey office.

This is a W-2 employee position offering flexibility, support, and the opportunity to focus on what matters most—providing quality care to clients.

Position Details

• In-person outpatient therapy services
• Minimum commitment of 10+ hours per week
• Flexible scheduling within the following availability:
• Wednesdays after 6:30 PM
• Thursday evenings
• Friday evenings
• Saturdays and/or Sundays
• W-2 employee status

What We're Looking For

We are seeking clinicians who enjoy the independence of private practice while valuing collaboration and teamwork. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual, family, and/or couples counseling services
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Adhering to practice policies and professional standards
• Participating in case consultation and team collaboration as needed

Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following New Jersey licenses:

• LSW
• LAC
• LCSW
• LPC
• LMFT

Preferred Experience:

• Working with children and adolescents
• Treating anxiety and depression
• Family counseling
• Trauma-informed care
