Description

Position Details:


  • Type: Overnight position
  • Shifts: Start as early as 8:30 PM and can end as late as 4 AM

Responsibilities:


  • Operate high-quality photography equipment (provided)
  • Participate in hands-on training sessions as needed
  • Guide tours to Aurora viewing destinations
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of guests
  • Drive and maintain heated, comfortable, and well-maintained sprinter vans
  • Work in challenging winter conditions with temperatures as low as -45 F

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude
  • Good physical condition
  • Ability to work well with a variety of personalities
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • CDL is a plus but not required
  • Photography experience is a bonus but not required

Seasonal Information:

  • Operating Season: August 21st - April 21st
  • Opportunity to experience seasonal transitions from warm summers to cold winters

  • Limited housing available at the Aurora in Alaska lodge

Salary

$25 - $45 per hour
