Our physicians provide high quality, patient-centered preventative care in a remote telehealth setting. On top of building strong patient trust, they actively participate in feedback & guidance to our in-field medical staff, as well as our operations, engineering teams. Description

Role

  • Leverage our custom EMR, evidence-based resources and decision-making algorithm to
  • Evaluate patient records and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Activate and prescribe patient-centered further diagnostics tests and treatment plans
  • Document findings, including patient goals and actions
  • Conduct asynchronous chat consultations with patients and, when relevant, synchronous visits via phone or video
  • Answer patient questions and provide high quality counseling 
  • Provide preventive health and disease management education and coaching
  • Collaborative with patients to define health goals
  • Direct patients to treating physicians for routine questions
  • Meet quality and productivity standards that will be clearly communicated to you 
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of operations, engineers, designers, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Be available by phone and/or email to answer clinical concerns of the in-field providers conducting checkups, which are performed during normal work hours
  • Provide support to recruit and onboard medical staff (physicians and in-field providers such as nurses)

Profile

  • MD 
  • Certification in Functional Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted license in NY, unrestricted licenses to practice medicine in multiple states is a plus
  • Experience in telemedicine is a plus
  • Passion for preventative health and desire to disrupt the healthcare sector
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine interest in patients, being empathetic to their concerns
  • Strong time management skills and sense of self-accountability, with the ability to problem solve independently, reaching out for support on patient cases if needed
  • Interested in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and are invigorated by being a part of something new, even if it means frequent changes / product improvements, and extremely comfortable using new technology and software. 
  • Prior experience in a health/medical startup is a plus
  • Willingness to work at least 15 hours per week consistently, full time is a plus

Salary

$200 - $250 per hour
