WHO WE ARE

Audiology Research Associates is a respected, privately owned audiology practice with over 40 years of service in Southwestern Washington and Northern Idaho. While hearing aid dispensing is a core part of our practice, what sets us apart is our dedication to comprehensive audiology services. We are a preferred care partner for patients and physicians alike because we lead with clinical excellence. We are seeking a full-time audiologist to join our Sandpoint clinic — someone who shares our commitment to accessible, compassionate, and honest patient care.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

Evaluation & diagnosis:

  • Comprehensive audiometric testing including speech-in-noise and visual reinforcement audiometry
  • Otoacoustic emissions testing

Care coordination & documentation:

  • Write clinical reports with referring physician recommendations
  • Maintain timely, accurate patient records in EHR
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging equipment, devices, and techniques

Education & counseling:

  • Compassionate communication about evaluation results and treatment options
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and referring physicians
  • Adapt complex clinical information to each patient's comfort level

Hearing aid dispensing:

  • Selection, fitting, earmold acoustics, and ongoing management
  • Follow-up care, patient education, and hearing aid repairs


REQUIREMENTS

  • Au.D. or Master's degree in Audiology
  • Eligible for Washington State licensure (Idaho licensure a plus)
  • Proficiency in hearing evaluation and hearing aid treatment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-facing skills

Preferred (not required)

  • Cerumen removal skills


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $90,000+ base salary (DOE)
