Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to provide patient care, support skill development, and promote positive behavior management strategies.


Duties


  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of client progress.
  • Educate clients and their families on behavior management techniques and care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist in the development of care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when documenting client interactions and progress.
  • Monitor client behaviors and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.


Experience


  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health practices and techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience in patient care settings, particularly with children, is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation processes and terminology is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to educate clients and families effectively.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors while maintaining a supportive environment.
