OBJECTIVE 

To provide Information Analysis Center (IAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) related Scientific and Technical Information (STI) deliverables by performing Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and other Research and Development (R&D) related analytical services in achieving the mission requirements of the Requiring Activity (RA) defined herein for the NAVAIR Program Executive Office, Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons (PEO (U&W)) P1-23-2513. 

SUMMARY 

The Computer Security Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of connected and cloud capabilities used by users, while also maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information up to and including SECRET. You will plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks. Identify security risks and implement solutions to mitigate those risks, research and recommend new security technologies, and design and implement security solutions for new and existing systems. They also monitor security systems and respond to security incidents. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop, implement, and maintain a facility level Operations Security (OPSEC) program to protect sensitive information and security framework/policies within the organization. 
• Ensure the security of connected and cloud capabilities used by users 
• Conduct research and analysis to address critical technology areas, such as trusted AI and autonomy 
• Conduct risk assessments, develop secure network solutions and monitor for security breaches. 
• Respond to incidents. 
• Educating staff on security best practices. 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Have an active Security Clearance. 
• Possess expertise in computer security, including network security, data encryption, and access control 
• Strong understanding of OPSEC principles and practices 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• 10+ years of related experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field;  Master’s preferred
