Atrility Medical Clinical Educator — Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Remote · Contractor

Atrility Medical is engaging experienced cardiac ICU nurses as 1099 independent contractors to deliver per-engagement clinical training on our FDA-cleared AtriAmp atrial monitoring device. Educators travel to partner hospitals — typically regional, occasionally national — to train bedside RNs, APPs, and physicians on AtriAmp setup, troubleshooting, and post-cardiac-surgery rhythm interpretation. This is a flexible, project-based role for senior CVICU or CTICU nurses who maintain other primary employment and want to share specialized rhythm expertise with adopting centers.

About Atrility Medical

Atrility's flagship device, the AtriAmp, unlocks a trove of feature rich ECG data and is now being used by the leading cardiac centers throughout North America. This innovation is fueling our next generation of technologies, which target the most costly and unaddressed complications of cardiac surgery. Join our growing team!

Description

What You Will Do

  • Travel to partner hospitals (typically regional; national engagements available) to deliver hands-on bedside training to CVICU / CTICU / cardiac stepdown teams
  • Teach AtriAmp setup, connection to temporary epicardial pacing wires, signal acquisition, and bedside workflow integration
  • Reinforce rhythm interpretation skills, with emphasis on post-cardiac-surgery arrhythmias and the role of atrial electrograms in differentiating complex rhythms
  • Provide clinical perspective on training materials, competency check-offs, and product usability
  • Complete vendor credentialing required by host hospitals (Reptrax, Vendormate, symplr, etc.) prior to on-site engagements

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in at least one U.S. state; eligibility to obtain compact / multistate privileges or single-state licensure as needed for travel
  • Minimum 3 years of recent bedside experience in a cardiac ICU — pediatric CVICU or adult cardiac surgery ICU (CTICU) both welcome
  • Strong rhythm interpretation competency, including the ability to: Identify and differentiate sinus rhythm, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia, junctional rhythms (including JET), SVT, AV blocks (1°, 2° Type I/II, complete), and ventricular arrhythmias
  • Interpret atrial electrograms and recognize AV dissociation
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of temporary epicardial pacing — modes (AAI / VVI / DDD), capture, sensing, and common failure modes
  • Comfort with travel for one- to two-day engagements
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS and/or PALS strongly preferred
  • Willingness to complete vendor credentialing at host hospitals

Rhythm competency will be assessed as part of the screening process through a structured rhythm strip review and clinical scenario discussion. This is a non-negotiable component of the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCRN, CCRN-P, or CCRN-K certification
  • Prior clinical educator, clinical specialist, or medical device industry experience
  • Familiarity with AtriAmp or with temporary pacing wire workflows in post-op cardiac surgery patients
