This high-impact role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, strong leadership capabilities, and the organizational savvy to manage fast-paced events with precision and energy. $60,000 annual salary, plus eligibility for a bonus plan with potential earnings up to $10,000 per year.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Oversee day-to-day operations of AMP’s event banquet functions
• Lead, train, and support Banquet Captain & Servers—jumping in when needed
• Partner with clients and internal teams to bring event visions to life
• Manage event timelines, floor layouts, staffing, and vendor coordination
• Serve as a primary contact on event days—resolving issues with professionalism
• Ensure setup, service, and breakdown meet or exceed expectations
• Support administrative event logistics, including TEOs, supply inventory, and planning meetings

Qualifications

• A leader with 3+ years in event planning, banquet management, or hospitality
• Professional, courteous, and respectful toward coworkers, members, and guests at all times
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to handle fast-paced, high-stress environments gracefully
• Solutions-focused and adaptable to shifting priorities
• Skilled communicator with excellent verbal and written abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and event software tools
• Willing to perform a variety of duties, including physical tasks as needed

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 - 50 lbs. for extended periods
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and open holidays
• Valid driver’s license and clean 3-year MVR
• Degree in hospitality or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• A passion for motorsports or high-energy event environments
• A proactive attitude and a sense of humor while getting things done
