Athena Security is seeking a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff to partner with the CEO and executive team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the company’s structure, driving operational efficiency, and supporting key initiatives across departments. This position is mainly remote with travel to Marin, County California and Jacksonville, Florida, so it would be advantageous to be in proximity or able to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Structure & Processes: Lead the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments to improve efficiency and ensure consistency.
- Hiring & Leadership Development: Recruit and onboard department heads, ensuring that the leadership team is equipped to drive growth and success.
- Executive Support: Hire and manage an Executive Assistant for the CEO, and later assist with recruiting support for the President and CTO.
- Industry Boards & Event Planning: Oversee the establishment of customer industry boards and manage all event planning, including CEO speaking engagements.
- Strategic Projects: Work closely with the CEO on board-level projects, such as preparing materials for fundraising efforts and other high-level strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leadership, organizational development, and managing high-level operations.
- Ability to recruit and develop strong executive teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience supporting C-level executives and handling confidential, sensitive tasks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel 10% of the time

Compensation:
- Base salary of $95,000 to $125,000, with an annual bonus of $25K - $100K, and Incentive Stock Options.
