Atari is seeking an eCommerce Operations and Growth Manager to lead and expand its online retail operations.


This role involves managing our online store's operations, optimizing customer experience, and spearheading growth strategies in our direct-to-consumer segment. Key responsibilities include overseeing website functionality, product merchandising, shipping, and fulfillment, as well as crafting innovative marketing initiatives across digital platforms like email, social media, and online advertising. The ideal candidate should be a Shopify expert, well-versed in its functionalities and best practices, and possess a strong passion for digital commerce and market growth.

What You'll Do

eCommerce Strategy and Operations:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of eCommerce operations including website management, merchandising, shipping, and fulfillment, ensuring seamless coordination with third-party logistics (3PL).
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the customer journey, focusing on user experience, product placement, and conversion rate optimization.

  • Monitor and analyze eCommerce metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for growth and optimization within the online store.

Digital Marketing and Channel Optimization:

  • Drive innovation and strategy in digital marketing efforts, encompassing a range of initiatives such as email marketing, social media engagement, search engine optimization/marketing (SEO/SEM), and diverse digital advertising platforms.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive eCommerce strategy and digital marketing efforts, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rate optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure a cohesive approach to marketing and operational tasks, aligning with Atari's overall business objectives.
  • Engage with product development teams to align marketing strategies with new product launches and promotions.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Implement analytics and reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for eCommerce and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize insights to make informed decisions, optimize strategies, and report on progress and challenges to senior management.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven track record of at least 6 years of experience in e-commerce management and digital marketing, preferably within the game industry or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing eCommerce platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and online customer engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify and its functionalities, with a proven track record of leveraging the platform for eCommerce success.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing data to drive decision-making in eCommerce and marketing contexts.
