The Director of Operations is a new function within the Atari organization, reporting to the President. In the Director of Operations role you will help develop, document, and execute on strategies and processes which result in increased revenue, better visibility, more efficient operations, and tighter organization and collaboration across the business. You'll coordinate with leaders and stakeholders across the company in games, hardware, licensing, blockchain, sales and marketing, and finance. You will work on complex problems, gain insight into the strategic and operational issues which are forefront in the minds of the leadership team, and become a trusted advisor to the business.


Responsibilities

  1. Develop the Operations function for Atari from the ground up
  2. Serve as a trusted partner to line-of-business leaders, developing standard processes and operations with these teams including project management and KPI reporting 
  3. Overhaul the reporting infrastructure for the organization, primarily focused on commercial and project operations inclusive of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on KPIs and pacing against those KPIs
  4. Enforce key processes and ensure data is clear, reliable, and current
  5. Generate regular and ad-hoc metric analysis for sales, marketing, and other business leaders to monitor performance across a range of key business drivers
  6. Source strategic opportunities and make recommendations for new projects and initiatives to drive the business forward
  7. Own and drive a handful of long-term change management initiatives each year; this will involve a mixture of project management skills, communication and presentation skills, strong collaboration across departments, and the initiative to push projects to completion
  8. Effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to all levels of management through clear presentations and command of the qualitative factors that complement your analyses
  9. Coordinate and manage the tech stack for project management, CRM, reporting, and analysis
  10. Oversee administrative responsibilities of the company, including office management, IT, and vendor management

 

We’re looking for a high-functioning business operations generalist who has worked in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both big picture strategy and day-to-day blocking and tackling. 

 

Qualified candidates will have:

  1. 5+ years of go-to-market experience, particularly in business operations and analysis, revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations roles
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to structure & present complex topics on the page or in-person
  3. Strong analytical and reporting skills, including budgeting and forecasting
  4. Project management experience, and the capacity to handle multiple projects at once
  5. Bias for action, even with imperfect information and resources
  6. Ability to work independently, but also highly collaborative and cross-functional
  7. Bonus points for a passion for video games, pop culture and diverse digital entertainment experiences

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
