We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Work From Home Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide remote assistance to customers or internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while delivering exceptional customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or remote desktop tools
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows, Mac, or Linux systems
- Guide users through troubleshooting steps and recommend solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals
- Document issues, solutions, and follow-up actions in ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk)
- Assist with account setup, password resets, and user access management8.
- Participate in product and process training to stay current on new technologies and best practices
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely, clear, and professional communication.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT support roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, and/or Linux operating systems
- Experience with remote support tools and help desk ticketing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
- Experience supporting customers in a call center or remote environment.
