The Senior Director of Business Development – Education is a senior leader responsible for advancing ACCC's oncology education portfolio through strategic business development, partnership cultivation, and revenue generation. Working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Development, this role develops and executes business development strategies that expand educational initiatives, strengthen relationships with industry, foundations, and healthcare organizations, and secure sustainable funding that supports ACCC's mission and long-term organizational growth. The Senior Director leads the identification, development, and management of strategic partnerships while overseeing the business development pipeline, revenue opportunities, and collaborative initiatives that align with organizational priorities and member needs. As a key member of the Corporate Development leadership team, this position represents ACCC externally, collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and ensures partnership initiatives deliver measurable impact, financial sustainability, and continued advancement of ACCC's education portfolio.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Business Development - Education serves as a senior leader on the corporate development team responsible for translating organizational revenue strategy into operational growth initiatives that expand the organization’s oncology education and partnership portfolio. This role provides leadership across partnership development, funder engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives that support impactful, mission-aligned educational programs and long-term funding sustainability.
Working in close collaboration with the Vice President, Corporate Development, the Senior Director advances strategic partnerships with industry, foundations, and aligned organizations while ensuring development activities are integrated with programmatic priorities and organizational growth objectives. This role is responsible for building the development pipeline, supporting partnership strategy, and cultivating external relationships. The Senior Director ensures that partnership opportunities are evaluated strategically, structured effectively to drive impact, and executed in alignment with organizational mission, member priorities, and revenue goals. The position functions as a senior operational leader responsible for advancing partnership growth, strengthening funder relationships, and ensuring development activities support sustainable expansion of the organization’s education portfolio.
