A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):
A Senior Athlete Recruiter is responsible for identifying and recruiting top-tier student-athletes across various sports disciplines. Your passion for sports and in-depth knowledge of the college recruitment process will play a crucial part in shaping the future of aspiring athletes and driving the growth of our company.
As a Senior Athlete Recruiter, some of your daily responsibilities will include:
- Actively engages with potential student-athletes and their families to promote the benefits of college athletic programs
- Evaluates the athletic abilities, academic achievements, and character traits of prospective student-athletes to determine their suitability for college athletic programs
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with high school coaches, club coaches, talent scouts, and sports agents to access a broad pool of potential recruits
- Utilize various scouting methods and platforms to identify talented student-athletes who align with our partner college programs' needs
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to engage prospective athletes and guide them through the recruitment process
- Cultivate strong relationships with athletes and their families, providing personalized support and guidance throughout the recruitment journey
- Evaluate athletes' skills, potential, and fit with college programs, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements
- Attend sports events, tournaments, and showcases to identify and connect with potential athletes
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our services and build our brand within the athletic community
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and data to measure success and continuously improve recruitment strategies

- Ability to evaluate athletes' potential, skills, and athletic performance effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple athlete recruitment activities
- Passion for sports and a genuine commitment to helping student-athletes achieve their athletic and academic aspirations
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field
- Proven experience as an athlete recruiter, talent scout, or similar role, with a focus on recruiting high school athletes for college sports programs
- Extensive knowledge of the college recruitment process, NCAA rules, and eligibility requirements
- Technologically savvy, with experience using recruitment platforms and database systems
