Job Summary:

ADDS is seeking a passionate, qualified Pre-K B-K Teacher to join our team. You'll create an engaging, child-

centered classroom that supports each child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, using state

frameworks to design developmentally appropriate lessons and track progress toward school-readiness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to each child's needs, using state early

learning frameworks

• Monitor and document each child's progress toward school-readiness goals

• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment

• Build strong relationships with families and serve as a bridge between home and school

• Collaborate with support staff and community partners to support each child's development

• Guide and coordinate classroom assistants

• Promote inclusion and prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Human

Development and Family Studies, Human Growth and Development, or Psychology) from a regionally

accredited college or university; and

• Hold, or be actively working toward, one of the following North Carolina Department of Public Instruction

Credentials:

• NC B-K Continuing or Initial License; or

• NC Professional Educator's License with a Provisional B-K or Preschool Add-on License; or

• NC Lateral Entry B-K License; or

• NC Residency B-K License
