Our Associate Consultant - HR will support consulting engagements that tackle the full spectrum of our clients' HR needs including supporting the design and delivery of effective and values-based people-centered processes and practices under the guidance of a project lead.

What You’ll Do

You will support consulting engagements that tackle the full spectrum of our clients’ HR needs including supporting the design and delivery of effective and values-based people-centered processes and practices under the guidance of a project lead. Specifically, your work will center on:

 

  • Work with and support the CEO and other project leads to deliver services, training, and consulting to clients including drafting materials (e.g., HR policies, process guides, proposals, communication templates, presentations, etc.) and may lead key tasks.
  • Proactively seek knowledge of client organizations by researching background information and speaking with CEO or project leads about project scope and goals.
  • Capture and synthesize critical data and information, translating into action steps that incorporate an equity and inclusion lens.
  • Seek guidance and feedback from CEO or project leads regarding work products, client needs, and internal deliverables.
  • Adhere to all established project processes, procedures and guidelines regarding our client engagements. Communicate with CEO or project leads regarding resource needs and supports as needed.
  • Adhere to defined work plans while maintaining all established timelines and deliverable deadlines.
  • Assist in developing effective internal and external presentations and skillfully help to facilitate client and internal team meetings.
  • Meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks and utilizing available resources.
  • Accurately document client communications and share information with the CEO or project lead.

Direct experience working nonprofits, especially values-driven or progressive nonprofits, is highly preferred.

This position is full-time and is a remote role that is ideally based in the eastern or central standard time zones. The role requires seldom travel (less than 2 times per year). The salary for this position ranges from $70,000-$90,000, with an exact salary depending on experience. New hires rarely start at the top of the range. We also offer competitive benefits such as a health expense reimbursement account, a 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and generous time off.
